Energy Star
High performance windows and doors bear enough energy rating labels similar to those found on household appliances, assisting consumers in selecting energy efficient products. These labels have been developed by the Australasian Window Council Inc., as part of the national Window Energy Rating Scheme.
The rating system produces star ratings for heating and cooling performance. The more stars a window has achieved, the more energy efficient the product is.
