Building Evolution

In the heart of Brunswick, this project is a standout example of how to blend historical preservation with modern living. A personal project for Ben and Vicky of Building Evolution, Barry Street continues a three-generation family legacy of craftsmanship, revitalising a classic heritage home into a bright, contemporary sanctuary.

While the front elevation was carefully restored to keep its original charm, we helped transform the living spaces to bring the home into the modern era. Ben and Vicky utilised our high-performance 125mm and 65mm aluminium suites combined with double glazing to ensure the home is as comfortable as it is aesthetic. Our large sliding doors were used to create a seamless flow to the outdoors, inviting plenty of natural light into the new extension. By keeping the soul of the original house and updating it with our Valley Windows range, Ben and Vicky have created a sophisticated home that honours its history while being perfectly built for the future.
