The Shows That You Should Check Out This Season
Hello visitors of the Valley Windows blog! You may be checking in for the first time. If that’s the case, get ready for the content that you didn’t know that you needed! Windows and doors are integral to a safe, beautiful and comfortable home, and we know that we’re the ones that will give you the most time-efficient, cost-efficient and all-around best windows and doors. It hasn’t been an easy journey. We’ve made mistakes, and through those we quickly learned that that learning itself, is absolutely vital if we want to continue to be the best in the business. If you peruse our site, you’ll find our monthly news recaps, which we’re very enthusiastic about. But, especially after working long days, sitting on the couch is one of our favourite things to do. And when we turn on the television, we love exploring new and exciting television shows that can inspire our work. Here are some of our favourites this season:
Nate & Jeremiah by Design
As specifically called out in this article, this show is not so different from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. The original was a great show, but this one helps showcase the banter of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. That alone makes it worth watching, but we’ve seen some very cool homes get some well-deserved makeovers. Bonus points – you get to hang out with their daughter Poppy, who is a joy all by herself.
Candice Tells All
We live in a digital age and this next show showcases that, being available on YouTube. Candice Tells All is its name and the star is Candice Olson. She hails from Canada and evolved very quickly into an HGTV star. It’s not her first show – she previously hosted and starred in Divine Design, which premiered back in 2001, twenty years ago! The formula isn’t surprising and is in line with many of the shows that we love so much – she goes into different types of homes and helps the owners see the potential of the property, before maximizing it. This is a great show if you like watching the transformations from conception to completion… all in one episode.
Million Dollar Decorators
You’ve probably heard of Million Dollar Listings – and for good reason – but did you know that the channel bravo also had two seasons of Million Dollar Decorators. There are shows that capitalize solely on talent and there are those that bring eccentric personalities into the mix. There is no shame in either game, as the saying goes. In this show, personalities definitely play a prominent role, but that doesn’t stop the four protagonists – decorators in the Los Angeles area, from letting their personalities shine. And they’re eccentric, let us tell you! Inspirational? Yes. Hysterical? Absolutely? Great popcorn television and it’s a bonus if you decide exactly how to decorate specific rooms or areas of your property.
